Different Abilities And Generations. One Dance for joy.

I choreographed Don’t Stop Me Now by Queen because I wanted to feel and share with others an unstoppable inner strength. I wanted a dance that reminded me of my own power and beauty.

I received the incredible opportunity this summer to share this dance with two very different groups of beautiful humans:

a class for those with MS and Parkinson’s Disease at Sterling Yoga Wellness in Pittsburgh, PA and a 3 different classes for young dancers ranging in ages from 6 to 15 at Freehold Academy Of Performing Arts in NJ.

I love this living proof of how dance can bring joy to all different bodies, abilities and ages. How complicated or easy moves are is irrelevant.

Moving in presence and intention is primary - something we can all do no matter what our age or movement capabilities are.

Next dream? Bring these two groups of humans together to perform side by side!

We are learning this dance now on the Wellness Membership. Send me a message if you want to learn it too!
